Pulp Paper Sculpture

July 28 - July 29

| Register: $325

This two-day workshop will introduce you to the creative possibilities of sculpting with pulp paper. We will explore a couple of papier maché construction methods, building small armatures to create 3-D artwork, and a variety of finishing options. This workshop is designed to be an introduction to this method, in order to show you it is possible to use papier maché as a non-traditional sculptural medium. Using her own experience with papier maché and pulp paper, the instructor will teach participants about form, pulp paper materials, glues and surface treatments. Participants will have time to create a few small objects and explore finishing. Handouts for obtaining materials and outline of techniques will be provided.
