The Carving Studio & Sculpture Center (CSSC) Artist in Residence program brings sculptors from around the world to create new work at our historic campus. Diverse artistic processes and experiences converge to form a creative community.
Juried Artist Residencies are funded opportunities for a one month paid residency at CSSC. Applications are reviewed by our Artist Advisory Committee, with selections made in the Spring. For more information, email us.
Professional and experienced sculptors may develop projects as Independent Residents from one day to several months, at reasonable rates.
Resident Interns are dedicated students of sculpture who benefit from artistic and cultural exchange while assisting with our summer program. Intern applications are accepted from November to March for the upcoming summer season.
