Basic Jewelry Techniques: February 22 & 23

Create your own silver pendant or ring during this two-day workshop for those new to this popular artform. Day one students will learn about jewelry forming techniques, how to cut and form silver, solder, add surface textures, and apply finishing techniques. Through demonstrations and hands-on learning, learners will gain the basic tools to dive into a project of their own. Day two will include a stone setting demonstration with enough time to finish their personal projects by the end of class. *Stone setting is optional. Bring a stone of your choosing if desired. Leave with new skills you can apply to future projects that can be done at home!
