Sculpt Me a Story Art Camp (ages 6-11) : Aug 5-9

This workshop will provide students with the opportunity to sample many sculptural methods and materials, with the added component of incorporating their projects into a performance at week’s end. Participants will be given the chance to try their hand at stone carving and other traditional sculptural techniques, as well as many non-traditional materials and concepts. Projects will become props, scenery, puppets, costuming, etc. for the performance of the participants’ choosing. Students will be encouraged to fully experience the materials and develop their own sculptural style, while working together to create a cohesive final product.

Ages 6-11
