Sculpting the Portrait from Life—An Introduction to Naturalistic Modeling: July 11 - 13

This three-day intensive introduces students to the fundamentals of creating a three-quarter life-size clay portrait. Participants will work from a live model to learn basic facial anatomy, techniques for establishing likeness, principles of proportion and perspective, and an introduction to naturalistic modeling. Return home with a solid foundation to further your work in clay portrait sculpture.
